Privacy Policy
This policy is a draft. The sections describing what the site collects are accurate and current. The named contacts, the hosting location and the retention period are marked and are pending before Sidiore accepts orders.
Who we are
Sidiore is a trade name of Solare Jewels Private Limited (CIN U32111DC2026PTC471484), registered at Shop No. 16, Sarafa Bazaar, Bank Street, Karol Bagh, New Delhi 110005, India. In this policy “we” and “the house” mean that company, which is the data fiduciary for the personal data described below under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect, and why
Today this website has one place where you can give us personal data: the invitation form on the home page. If you fill it in, we receive:
- Your name. So we can write to you as a person.
- Your email address. The address we would write to.
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it. This field is optional and the form says so. We ask for it only so we can reach you on WhatsApp if you have asked us to.
- Anything you write in “Interested in”. Whatever you tell us you are looking for.
- Which channels you ticked. Email and WhatsApp are separate choices, both start unticked, and we act only on the ones you tick.
We ask for nothing else. We do not ask your date of birth or your gender, because neither is needed to write to you.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, runs no tracking pixels, and does not profile you. The only thing stored in your browser by the invitation is a single flag recording that you have seen it, so that it does not appear again. It contains no personal data and never leaves your device.
The basis we rely on
Your consent, given by submitting the form and by ticking the channels you want. You can withdraw it at any time and we will act on that — withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and costs you nothing. Write to the address below and we will remove your details.
Who sees it
The details go by email to the house’s own mailbox and are read by the people who run Sidiore. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
The service providers we necessarily rely on are our email host and our website host. Where the website is hosted, and therefore where this data is processed, is To be confirmed.
When the shop opens we will use Razorpay for payments and DHL, BlueDart, Delhivery and FedEx for delivery. Neither of those applies yet, because you cannot yet place an order, and this policy will be updated before you can.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to stop, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for — whichever comes first. The specific retention period is To be confirmed.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it;
- correct or complete anything that is wrong or out of date;
- erase it, where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to; and
- raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if we have not resolved it.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month, as required of an Indian e-commerce seller.
Changes
When this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If a change affects what we do with data you have already given us, we will write to you before it takes effect.
